A hand-carved pendant cut from a Muonionalusta slice. Carving a slice rather than a block means working within a fixed thickness — the relief has to be achieved across a shallow section without breaking through.

Carved surface, natural structure

The etched crystal lattice follows whatever contours the carving creates, so it reads at several angles at once instead of lying on a single plane. The lattice itself is unmodified — it formed in space and is simply exposed by acid.
