The material
Seymchan was recovered in Russia's Magadan region and was catalogued for decades as a plain iron meteorite — the olivine was only found after a mass was cut apart in the 1990s. It was formally reclassified as a pallasite in 2007.
Care
Epoxy sealed. Avoid abrasives and prolonged soaking.
