Muonionalusta meteorite formed 4.5 billion years ago in the early solar system and was discovered in northern Sweden. Its famous Widmanstätten crystalline pattern is revealed after acid etching. This cosmic lattice structure forms only by millions of years of ultra-slow cooling inside an asteroid and cannot be artificially duplicated.
