Lovers Ring-F — 9.5 mm wide, 2.5 mm thick, handmade in natural Muonionalusta iron meteorite. The widest and heaviest of the lovers' bands, usually taken as the larger half of a pair.
Iron meteorites are elemental iron-nickel, identified by the criss-crossing crystal structure inside them. That structure only appears after etching with nitric acid, and it records a cooling process no terrestrial furnace can imitate.
Ring-F at 9.5 mm pairs naturally with Ring-I at 7.7 mm. Both are cut from the same material, so the pattern family matches while the proportions differ.
